Meet Kaili Moore
Born and raised on Mount Desert Island, I am a life long Mainer with deep roots to my community. After obtaining my Masters in Social Work, I moved to Portland in 2013, specializing with children who had experienced traumatic events. In 2017, my husband and I purchased our first multifamily property. With a lot of hard work, we were able to leverage our sweat equity into a down payment for an additional building. We also started managing short term rentals and rental properties for others, leading us to form Presumpscot Property Management. Today, we manage 100+ units in Portland, and actively invest in long term, short term, and corporate rentals. In 2018, I decided to make a career change and became a broker with Portside Real Estate Group. I have been so lucky to have amazing friends and family who have supported my career along the way, and am currently ranked #3 for brokers in Portland for residential real estate! Helping people achieve their dream of home ownership has been so much more rewarding than I ever could have imagined. Especially in this current market where buyers are told over and over it’s impossible to buy a home; empowering buyers to make educated, informed decisions and get into their dream homes has been incredible and I feel so grateful that people put their trust in me.
I have seen first hand the life changing power of real estate investing, but started to feel a bit lonely as I didn’t know many other women who were investing (which seemed crazy because of course we are!). This led me to form Portland Women Investors, a monthly opportunity for women to come together, learn from each other, and build generational wealth through real estate. In an effort to continue my deep dive into real estate investing, I also began a Graduate Certificate program focused on Real Estate Investing and Development.
While I am not a practicing social worker, I try to keep in touch with that community through volunteer work. I am very proud of my work as a founding committee member of 1% for Maine along with participation through Board Work & volunteering with other community non-profits.
I love the power of human connection and the opportunity to help people achieve their goals. Attention to detail, thoroughness, and strong communication have been essential to my career so far and I strive to make the process of buying or selling property smooth, informative, and fun!
Want to talk more about anything real estate related? I’m always available to grab coffee or take a walk and share the knowledge I have gained.
